Serra Grande is made up of many beaches; With fine sand, transparent waters and warm currents the 3 mile long Sargi beach has the most infrastructure; hotels, pousadas, bars and restaurants. The Pé de Serra beach, on the other hand, is a good place to watch the arrival of jangadas(traditional sailing rafts). Access to the beaches of Pompilho, Prainha and Foz do Tijuipe is restricted, but these deserted beaches are simply wonderful! |
